Now the State Senator, Gwendy must try to hide the box, which is a task when these mysterious forces are on their way. The box has only grown in its evil power as time passed, and now other malevolent forces have come into play as they fight for its possession. Gwendy reconciles with the box, drawn to both its remarkable effects on well-being and its terrible power. The mysterious and destructive button box makes its final appearance after Gwendy has reached fame as a successful novelist and rising political star.
In the penultimate finish to the Gwendy's Button Box trilogy, Stephen King collaborated with fellow writer Richard Chizmar to end the saga.
